THE CHIMES (book/music/lyrics) staged reading at NOMTI’s Birth of a Musical Festival (Boston). BOOK OF DAYS incidental music for Canadian premier in Toronto. THE LITTLE MATCHGIRL (music/lyrics) additional songs for production at Gloucester Stage. Choral arrangement for Columbia Pictures release of MONA LISA SMILE. Music for ballet performed in US and Europe and used for broadcast on A&E, Discovery, Nickelodeon and Learning Channels. 
Member of the Dramatists Guild and the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop.


Conductor:  Concerts with the Savannah Symphony, The Rhode Island Philharmonic, The Handel and Haydn Society, The Tallahassee Symphony (with Marcus Roberts),The Springfield (MA) Symphony (with Olivia Newton-John), London's Westminster Philharmonic (concert tour to Nova Scotia). Associate Professor, Brandeis University: Conductor Brandeis-Wellesley Orchestra. Degrees in conducting and composition from the Eastman School of Music and Boston University School of Music. Master classes at the Pierre Monteux School for Conductors, the Conductor's Retreat at Medomak, and Tanglewood.

Jeffrey Haddow - Book and Lyrics

Sense and Sensibility The Musical

Jeffrey Haddow is a 2009 winner of the BMI Harrington Award for Creative Achievement.  He co-authored the musical revue, SCRAMBLED FEET, which ran two years Off-Bway at the Village Gate, was produced as a Showtime TV special starring Madeline Kahn, and is published by Samuel French.  He also co-wrote the play, CHEKHOV IN YALTA, which had its world premiere at the Mark Taper Forum in L.A. won a Los Angeles Drama Critics Distinguished Playwriting Award, was produced as a TV special starring Tom Courtenay, and is also published by Samuel French.  Other produced plays include DUCKS (co-book and lyrics), Musical Theatre Works, NYC. THIN ICE (play) WPA Theatre Off- Broadway, SCULLY & ROYCE (play) Detroit Repertory Company, and THE DRUNKEN BOAT (play) Circle Repertory Co., NYC.

E BACK OF THE NORTH WIND (book and co-lyrics), staged readings at the 2006 Festival of New Musicals, Village Theatre, Issaquah, WA, the Nat’l Arts Club, NYC (2007), and the TRU Voices New Musicals Series, NYC (2007); SUMMER STOCK (co-book and co-lyrics) based on the 1950 movie musical with Judy Garland and Gene Kelly; LINCOLN AND SON (lyrics), a musical for young audiences; and THE LEGEND OF THE YELLOW ROSE (libretto), an original opera w/composer Gregory Sullivan Isaacs. Jeffrey is a graduate of Northwestern University and a current member of the Dramatists Guild and the BMI Musical Theatre Workshop.
